TAKE THESE 4 SIMPLE STEPS TO CHECK YOUR HAIR DENSITY CHANGE OR IF YOU SUSPECT YOU MAY HAVE HAIR LOSS ISSUE.
STEP 1
Check the partings of your hair. Take different sections from left to right.

Compare the width of the partings. If the parting is wider at one area compared to another, there is a difference in hair density which means there is hair thinning or hair loss at the wider partings.
STEP 2
Push back your hair and check the hairline.

Check for sign of receding. If you notice that your forehead is getting higher, it means your hairline has receded. If you see “baby” hair, it means that the diameter of your hair around your forehead is shrinking which leads to receding.
STEP 3
If your ponytail is getting smaller, or your favourite hair clip is not holding your hair as well as before, it means you have been losing hair which reduces your hair volume.
STEP 4

Get a friend to take a picture of your crown. If your can see a clear line of your scalp from your crown, it means there is hair thinning.
Hair thinning is more common than we think. These conditions are mostly reversible. They can be prevented too. Take care of your hair as you would take care of your skin.
